A short walk away, you’ll find Monticello Amiata – cobblestone streets, morning espressos, and friendly chats at the local bar. In our lovely town you’ll also find a mini market with fresh & local prodcuts, a restaurant, a butcher and more! Ready to discover other towns as well? Visit Cinigiano, Montalcino, Santa Fiora, Siena, San Quirico d’Orcia and many more!
Natural hot springs
Immerse yourself in one of the stunning Terme Naturale nearby! A warm, natural bath in the heart of Tuscany is an unforgettable experience you won’t want to miss. We’re surrounded by four beautiful hot springs, with Saturnia and Terme San Filippo being the most renowned. A natural playground, both for adults and children!
Hiking
With several hiking trails starting right at the entrance of our campsite, Lucherino is the perfect base for exploring the stunning landscape. Lace up your boots and set off on an adventure directly from your doorstep!
The coast
Discover the beautiful coast of the Maremma, where the clear blue sea meets sandy beaches and untouched nature. Perfect for relaxing or exploring, the coast offers stunning views, hidden coves, and a peaceful atmosphere. Visit some of the beautiful towns like Castiglione della Pescaia or Talamone. If you want to immerse yourself in nature then Parco Regionale della Maremma is the place for you. Are you a fan of diving or snorkling? Several agencies offer tours on a daily basis.
River swimming
Just a short 30-minute walk from the campsite, you’ll find the beautiful Zancona River. While it’s a small stream, it offers a refreshing, cool dip – the perfect way to unwind on warm summer days! Of course you can also reach it by car, there are multiple spots where you can reach the river.
