About Us
We’re a Polish-Dutch couple with a passion for nature, outdoor adventures and great food – the perfect attributes for creating a welcoming campsite in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
We met in 2020 while working on a campsite in Tuscany and it didn’t take us long to fall in love – both with each other and with the beauty of this region. In the years that followed, we were combining our love for traveling with the passion for working on Italian campsites, gaining valuable experience in managing several sites across central Italy. After years of dedication and joy in this field, we realized there was only one step left to take – creating our very own campsite, here in Tuscany.
Camping Lucherino was born in 1978 when the former farm transformed into a place of peace and rest for visitors of the region. Today, our campsite offers just over seventy pitches, each uniquely situated on terraced grounds of various sizes. Located on top of a gentle hill, it provides stunning views of the rolling hills and picturesque villages of the Maremma region, with breathtaking sunsets to enjoy each evening.
The ancient oaks and chestnut trees provide enough shade, ensuring a comfortable stay. Lucherino is the perfect place to unwind, while also serving as an ideal base for exploring a wide range of activities, from outdoor adventures to the region’s rich scene of food, wine, and culture.
